Today's 8.15 was a little slower. This run took place before I had to say goodbye to Elsie. It's funny, Mel and Elsie actually got me into long distance running. Now Elsie is gone and Mel has arthritis. Mel used to run 5 miles. Elsie would drag me for four miles.

Today I went 8.15 and my average pace was under 10 minutes a mile (by 4 seconds). Not a lifetime personal record, but probably a personal record for the past three or four years.
