Right now definitely leaning towards a new signing or two to help us with some individual magic. Ramsay has elevated this team in numerous ways, but possession & breaking down defenses hasn't been one of them...

We got into some good positions in the final 1/3 on the right side, but constant bad decisions by Harvey made it so nothing ever happened. If Ramsay is going to have one of our CB's push up in this system, we need someone more capable.

Hope Ramsay knows what he's doing with this "next step in their evolution," because I agree with him, I’m expecting more & more teams playing this way against us.

He'll need to look where in the final 1/3 to find that better 'balance of structure & fluidity.' All too easy & predictable.

Was curious if any stats backed up the video idea. And the game vs. FC Dallas was the first time our top 3 players in touches & passes completed were our 3 central midfielders, and the first time we hit 400 completed passes as a team.

It's great to see more & more central build-up combinations (I have no doubt in my mind Lod/Trapp/Pereyra are comfortable doing it) instead of our usual 50+ long balls between DSC & our CB's while praying for a 2nd ball win.

Our average height of defensive actions was about the same as in past games, but last night it felt like we did a much better job turning them into half-chances.

One thing that jumped out to me this game was how well San Diego's movement disrupted our usually steady back five. Our defense kept getting dragged all over the place, which opened up a lot of space for them.
