The lone upside of this Twins season was the notion it would be the last under the Pohlads. Nope. Guessing they’ve determined that if they wait a few more years, they can get another 500+ million. In the short term, they can use the asset to keep borrowing money as their other businesses implode.

I agree—not strange at all that Colorado set up that way. That was predicable, especially after the transfer. And Loons struggling to create a goal from buildup is a many seasons problem.

Second half opened very differently. They rushed long balls in the first few minutes, and got caught up field. Worst of both worlds—not controlled possession, yet somehow out of position, which is how a team plays when scrambling to comeback from multiple goals, not 0-0. That was strange.

I’m referring to the abrupt shift in the Loons reaction, not the setup. First half, while the Loons didn’t score, they were able to maintain possession & stay structured enough to deal with counters. Thinking especially of min 20-35—not great, but creating half chances, applying pressure, in control

Just a baffling start to the 2nd half. Loons came out playing as if down two goals. Lose all composure and get carved up. Very bad loss. #MNUFC

After Loons get a good look on a corner, Bongi makes a terrible challenge that opens up a 3-1, but Trapp saves the day twice. Loons really out of sorts right now.

To the Loons credit, in comparison to the ASL match, they are much quicker and decisive with the ball. More movement off the ball. Still only half chances, but putting significant pressure on the Rapids in the last 10-15 min. #MNUFC
