I need y’all to see the disconnect between your very real concern about gerrymandering and all the forms of voter suppression and your ire against southern and red states and your belief that all those people get what they deserve.

You don’t actually care about the first if you believe the second.

This is a brilliant thread of contextualization of this moment and what's praiseworthy about it amidst the atrocities.

The only good part of this moment is that campaigns will no longer pretend like these fucking bozo nonstories matter at all. The "You can't kill me, I'm already dead" energy has a kind of propulsive magic to it. Having nothing to lose and being right is a cheat code and a force field.
