Drawing pokemon from memory but in a 'vibe off of the design' way and not a 'try to get it accurate' way. Also testing out a looser style for illustration where the color + shading are all on the same layer.

The true reason why the drive-through lines are so long

As some of you fellow fantasy-art fans have pointed out, Brian Froud certainly seems influenced by Bauer's work, especially early in his career, years before he designed the Mystics for Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal". These images come from 1978's "The Land of Froud". Great stuff!

YEAH! And the 1000 words change depending on the person observing the image. Like you could ask two people to describe the same panel in words and each would notice different things and make different inferences. Something lost or changed in translation, every time.
