I think the reason more narratively interesting books, like Kimmy or Hell Followed With Us or The Hades Calculus will stick around is we're, as people, are as interested in poking the edges of our pain as much as being comforted.

I would expect to see MORE of these books as material conditions deteriorate for lesbians and queer people in general. Who wants to read about oppression after a long day at the oppression factory?
