Absolutely. At least Moffat’s female characters felt well drawn aside from that stuff. I like Bel but just like Ruby she’s barely a person. I feel like all the companions up to and including Bill don’t have that problem. Martha and Bill to a lesser degree (also WOC companions unfortunately).
