Shoot, you could easily build a couple seasons around the "Derry: Interlude" chapters alone (which would seem to make sense for a prequel series, but what the heck do I know?).

Based on what I've read so far, it seems weird that the IT prequel series wouldn't at least use the book as a springboard for material...since there are many elements (outside of the most infamous one, get your mind out of the gutter) that have gone untouched by the previous TV/film adaptations.
