I'm sorry that this happened to him, but glad he got the diagnosis and is getting treatment. It's estimated that most people who have this never get a proper diagnosis and end up being misdiagnosed with some other form of dementia. With treatment recovery is possible.

I have a family member with NPH, often the cause is unknown. Biggest risk factor is just age, but it can run in families, and is sometimes secondary to a head injury, stroke, tumor, or meningitis.

Happy Caturday!

I'm struggling so much with this. Obviously I'm staying informed but it's beyond overwhelming some days, and try as I might it seems like I get drawn into doomscrolling now when I try to use social media. I hope you're able to find some peace and balance that makes it more manageable.

I didn't realize that he'd passed away. It makes me sad, I really enjoyed the Zones of Thought series. Rest in peace, Vernor Vinge.
