They lie about the ECHR.
Just like they lied about Brexit. Claiming if we just got rid of that ‘European’ thing, we’d be free, we’d have control, all our problems solved…
It’s NOT TRUE.
We’d inflict more chaos on ourselves and torch our own human rights framework for NOTHING.
For liars.
Again.

What’s Reformoron Pochin’s opinion on digital ID cards? Depends on what Daddy Nigel tells her. First she wasn’t against it, then she got the orders and parroted the ‘assault on freedoms’ line. Reform isn’t a party, it’s a Farage dictatorship dressed up as a bad sitcom. #ukpolitics

Yes. And the reason is a relentless programme of disinformation to rocket boost fear, prejudice and division, in order to usher Farage into No.10.
The Times is nothing more than a deeply malign propaganda outfit for the far right.

This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

The common good is a set of shared commitments.

To the rule of law. To democracy. To tolerance. To equal opportunity. To upholding the truth.

We cannot have a functioning society without these shared commitments.

Yesterday's far-right march should serve as a wake-up call for Starmer's government.

The growing radicalisation of the British public cannot be halted by govt echoing far-right narratives.

The govt must insulate our democracy from the malign foreign interference of Elon Musk.

Good to join WION.

Photos of Yaxley Lennon/Robinson and Musk talking on video link and a bloodied protester.

…murdered in cold blood this week and people on the left celebrating it openly.
"The left is the party of murder and celebrating murder. I mean, let that sink in for a minute, that's who we're dealing with here."
He said that the British public were
"scared to exercise their [right to] free speech" and claimed the BBC was "com-plicit in the destruction of Britain".
When they finished their conversa-tion, Robinson said: "Not only are we in the fight right now, but we're on advance thanks to free speech being fought for, for us, by Elon Musk."
By about 4pm riot police, backed by mounted patrols and dog units, were struggling to protect a group of masked antifascists hemmed in at the top of Whitehall. Missiles and flares were thrown by Robinson supporters, with some hitting officers.
Many chanted
abuse at the police, mocked officers and spat at them.
The Met said on X: "Officers are having to intervene in multiple locations to stop Unite the Kingdom protesters trying to access sterile areas, breach police cordons or get to opposing groups. A number of officers have been assaulted."
It later added: "The turnout for the Unite the Kingdom protest was too big to fit into Whitehall. Protesters left the route on to Victoria Embankment and sought to access Whitehall from multiple directions ... When officers moved in to stop them, they faced unacceptable violence.
They were assaulted with kicks and punches. Bottles, flares and other projectiles were thrown."
More than
1,600
officers
were
deployed to deal with the demonstrations as well as several football fixtures in the capital. At least 500 police had been drafted in from forces outside London, including the Merseyside, Humberside

Musk, Tommy Robinson - fascist Britain. A hellpit of violence and racism. They’re using our flag as their rallying cry. And X as their megaphone.
No more appeasement.
No more ‘legitimate concerns’ horseshit.
It’s beyond time to sanction Musk, regulate X and shut these fuckers down.

What an absolute arse.
These people should be nowhere near power. Nowhere. Near.

His fake patriotism and his fake free speech crusade crumble under even the mildest examination. Which makes the British media's reluctance to do so all the more baffling.

Rayner says Farage’s Brexit promises haven’t come true

Knowing Brexit is a deeply dishonest project should be good enough reason to bin it, along with the liars who flogged it to the country.

Instead, we stay stuck in this Brexit dead-end because no one quite has the courage to admit what an epic fuck-up it is.

Kemi Badenoch has got off lightly. Unlike TV viewers she was close enough to see Reeves was in real distress and to see the tears but chose to gleefully and gloatingly draw attention to it. In other contexts that would be called "workplace bullying". #PMQs #r4today

Ian Dunt;

The commentary on his first year will be largely damning. But there is still every chance that Starmer's better elements will prevail:
seriousness, diligence, purpose, competence.
We should hope very strongly that they do. They remain the best way of defeating populism and putting Farage back in his box.

Ayesha Hazarika;

Labour MPs desperately want to Starmer to succeed because the alternative is too terrible to even contemplate. They want to be involved.

They want to help shape policy. They are younger, more independently minded and want some agency. And that isn't a bad thing - quite the opposite.

This should be a moment to try to build a new modern culture in the Parliamentary Labour Party. There is a great Labour team that is willing and able to be mobilised which includes MPs, Mayors, peers, council and trade unions leaders and way beyond. But that team needs to be built with respect, some charm, time and genuine inclusion.

Starmer loves his football and knows that individuals don't win championships, teams do.

Make Labour politics a team sport again and save the fight for the real opponents who, right now, are getting a free ride.

Inside Labour is a hard-working, decent party wanting to make a difference. They need a chance to sort themselves out. Trying to please the right fails us all and makes it far too easy for Farage.

Fair from @iandunt.bsky.social then
