I would be so fascinated to hear what the true impacts were of the COVID moratorium on landlords. We heard a lot of “the sky will fall” at the time, but the sky still appears to be very much up for them. Seems like they can do some accommodating to ensure our community isn’t literally decimated.

Sure would be a shame if one of our local printing businesses started making and handing out “this is an ICE vehicle” bumper stickers…

People in Minnesota are now using their key fobs to trigger their car alarms from the safety of their homes when they see ICE walking around.

The AFSCME staff that the administration threatened to layoff were civilian employees in MPD, not anyone from the Mayor’s office. AFAIK, none of the electeds’ staff are unionized.
