US Republican budget proposal has removal of gun silencer tax in its sights U.S. Republican tax writers pushing through President Donald Trump's signature tax cut priorities proposed to eliminate a customer tax on firearm silencers, a tax potentially undoing the almost 100-year-old tax.

Over the last few days, the Trump Administration allowed the sale of devices that turn semiautomatic rifles into machine guns and the House passed language that opens up silencers to be bought by anyone.

Finally saw Wicked. First of all? So much fun. Secondly, I am shocked, pleased, and amazed that a very gay movie featured a surprise nod to the musical and that surprise wasn’t ruined for me already. Either I’m not following enough gays or everyone behaved.
