I see nothing wrong in constructively correcting adults who don't understand the holiday. That is separate from teaching one's children about history.
Plus teaching kids does nothing about adults whom are assholes. Gotta teach both!

Chicago is the one US city I regret never getting around to visiting.
This hasn't been a problem for my family and friends. We've actually discovered some good Canadian brown booze.
For the most part we will continue as before, drinking BC wine, beer & gin and my fave Irish whiskey (Bowmore btw)

In comparison, I think Dylan is a terrible singer (but a great songwriter) and Springsteen is boring.
