This was the first month ever where renewables have overtaken fossil fuels in Australia's electricity mix.

10 years ago, in October 2015, fossil fuels made up 86%.

Good morning with good news: Renewables & nuclear are ~75% of EU's electricity, while fossil fuels drop ~30%-50% since 2016.

Coal is well below 10% from April-Sept & gas below 16% from March-Sept.

RE generated from ~41% to 57% during Jan-Sept 2025.

Nuclear produced ~21% to 25%.
