Hey America. Brit here.
We have an actual King and I can't recall him sending the military on to the streets to arrest citizens.
What you have is a dictator.
I hope this helps.

The fact that one single person considers, even for a millisecond, that three world leaders would do cocaine together in front of photographers, explains exactly why the world is so messed up.
These people are allowed to vote.
Of course they didn't do cocaine. Grow up.
So tired of this bollocks.
Quite surprised by this. It's a well known fact that, on arrival at the Sistine Chapel, every Cardinal is briefed that they must select a Pope whilst strictly adhering to the principles of 'What would Steve Bannon think?'
10.05.2025 08:34 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How long do we give it until Trump claims he had something to do with selecting the first American Pope?
08.05.2025 17:42 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0An ex Tory voter voting for Andrea Jenkyns, an ex Tory MP, because they are tired of the Tories really sums up why politics in this country is the way that it is.
Rinse and repeat.
'Hi, is that Universal? It's Matt Hancock here. Fantastic news about the new theme park. Anyway, the reason I'm calling is because I was talking to the landlord of my local pub last night and he had said he'll be able to provide all the tracks for your roller coasters'

No doubt Trump's team will be on the phone to him shortly to invite him to the White House.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

With everything going on in the world at the moment, it's very easy to forget about the Tories.
Luckily, there is a constant stream of them who pop up regularly to remind us all what they are like.

I hope the positives to come from Trump's second term is a more united world and a blanket rejection of the right wing in future, both in politics, and in general.
But the fact that Trump was given a second term means I'm not entirely sure that will happen.
I'm incredibly proud to have Starmer as PM right now.
02.03.2025 18:59 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0I completely agree with this. I would also be looking to find Europe based alternatives to as many US trade agreements as possible and start implementing a Europe wide trade disassociation with the US to lessen Trump's leverage with threats of tariffs.

This is not good.
Dear Russia
Ukraine doesn't belong to you so it is irrelevant what your opinions are in regards to any of it. Including whether or not they want to join NATO or if they want European troops there.
Signed everyone (except countries who also bully their citizens)
Zelensky is a man who has remained in a war torn country to defend its citizens from the aggression of the deluded dictator bully of the largest country on the planet.
Trump faked bone spurs in order to avoid the Vietnam war.
Trump isn't even worthy to speak Zelensky's name.
I'm genuinely expecting Trump to suggest America taking over Ukraine and turning it into a massive holiday resort.
I'm not even joking.
I am genuinely expecting him to say that.
I propose we do recognise that Trump did win the 2020 election and write into law that this was the case.
I would then inform him that, due to this victory, his second term has now expired and there will be an election which he would be unable to run in due to the limit of two terms in office.
This reminds me of the fawning of the Tories over Johnson. Anything for a brief taste of power. It's pathetic to watch.
