Finished Houseki No Kuni

Speechless. Never would've anticipated the route the story goes based off of season 1 of the anime

I found most the rest of the cast pretty uninteresting, but that was more than made up for by Phos' character arc

Easy 10/10, was shocked some people dislike the ending

Still crazy to me that this is supplemental material still, what with recent chapters reintroducing Sheila in Chrollo's backstory. Togashi seems to be gearing up for a big reveal about the massacre and I'm deeply terrified about it.

Re-read the Kurapika side story while catching up on the most recent HxH chapters and I'm always taken aback by the gut punch that is the last few pages.

No chance to savor some hope for young Kurapika. All stated so matter-of-factly. Far more harrowing than any blood or gore could've depicted.
