I was doing a gig in a small town a couple of years ago, there for nine nights. Before I left for the theatre each evening I watched a rerun of Murder She Wrote on a free cable channel that showed old shows each night. Also watched M*A*S*H too.

@jconnollybooks.bsky.social half way through Children of Eve - loving it so far, especially the Jennifer/Sam scenes. It is truly the one series I have followed/read since Every Dead Thing. And it never disappoints!

Just spent a good hour on my piano and guitar - I still can’t play for shit - but it’s so cathartic!

Such a superb character, Mary was unputdownable. As was ‘When the Wolf Comes Home’, I was totally emotionally invested in both novels.

It is indeed…. But I think the scratching ages it and gets annoying after a few listens.
