That last bit I think is particularly important in terms of passing ethical approval. the bar is not low for physical examination of minors and the purpose of the study (imo) does not require that. There’s ofc no difference in the way PBs work on trans vs cis people, the gov’s justification for the trial is that there’s less published work on the specific treatment of gender dysphoria. But there’s tests they’re including in the trial (invasive physical examns) that are entirely unnecessary
