I am still teetering but each botched update and full screen ad in W11 is a push towards Linux on my desktop. I made the jump on my laptop and it’s been fine so it feels inevitable at this point.

It’s gotten bad enough my wife is considering the jump, steam deck was her gateway drug.

I’ve basically always had old steel frame road bikes, but the local bike co-op had a donated carbon frame from this millennium and I figured I’d give it a shot.

I don’t understand why you’d pay 3x for 4lbs of weight saved if you’re not racing but it’s a pretty neat bike to add to the stable.

I got back into working on “vintage” bicycles, this time with my wife joining in and we are having a blast fixing these old bikes and hitting the trails and biking around our little town together. Especially because if you can work on bikes folks just give you them for free.
