I've had an email from a Boundless author asking about options and what my advice would be. Are any of you guys freelance who could advise on getting rights back, options, and guidance?

I don't have capacity right now, but would really like to help them.

I discovered yesterday, in a mass email sent at 3am, that I will not be receiving the roughly £40,000 that my publisher Unbound/Boundless owes me for pre-order sales of The Paradox Paradox. The payment for five years of work, gone.

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 12: However good your work is, there will be people who hate it. This is an inescapable part of having readers. Live with it. Accept it. And know that for every person who doesn’t like your work, there may be another whose life has been changed by something you wrote.

Carry yourself with the confidence of a dude I asked to be a guest on my podcast who responded with, “No, thanks, but if you want a co-host, I could do that."
