Immersion ruined.

I’ve seen nothing but positive comments and it appears to be consistently well attended so far. I’ve always wanted to see more opportunities for evening walks through the village, so I was very happy to see this event pop up.

An interesting discussion/reflection on style arose after my wife pointed out that all my photos naturally look a bit haunted despite the place actually being lively and bustling with people. It was literally sold out when we visited. Huh. 🤷🏼‍♂️👻🎄

A friend of mine used to call that infinite Westmorland loop the Fredericton 500.

Not sure that it’s the case anymore, but for a very long time, there was next to no signal in Walmart North.

Like driving through the Arizona desert.

I want to know more about the widening of the existing bridges. How grotesquely wide can we get away with? I say we make ‘em wider than they are long. Basically a Walmart parking lot suspended over the river. Maybe go higher while we’re at it. I want them to block out the mid day sun.

Is that like unflavoured iced coffee?

The worst part of winter is when you have to crouch for whatever reason and your calf and back of your thigh both make contact with a double dose of ice cold denim.

I think it ended 2 hours ago, so it should be nice and calm by now.

I went into it with a borderline migraine, which I gather is the best way to experience it. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the shock and hilarity of the parking situation cured it. The scope of the event was way beyond what I was expecting. Vast, good, very busy, funny Santa, but minimal chaos.

We went to that. Had to park around the corner on another street. I had no idea what I was getting into.

I remember walking around my parents’ neighbourhood one night about 20 years ago as a wee college kid, eyes fixed on that moon halo completely puzzled. It was one of the first curiosities of the night sky that caught my undivided attention. Thanks for the heads up. Just stepped out to see it again.

I really liked All That You Can’t Leave Behind and How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. They lost me after that though (at least in terms of studio albums).

I just had a company’s email AI agent ask me to confirm the email address associated with my account…in response to a support email sent from the email associated with my account. The fall of mankind has commenced.

Yesterday, out of the blue, my wife asked who I thought was taller between Charizard and Snorlax and then we proceeded to have a big family deep dive and discussion on how awesome Snorlax is. Point being: I really hope that is an everyday toque.
