Terry Pratchett has a great quote about being bored that I think everyone should encounter at some point in their lives.

I wrote my first novel at 15. Unpublished, but it wasn't bad, character development, rising tension, a satisfying climax and everything. How?
Because it was 2003 and boredom was so close at hand. I just did things without knowing the rules or of there were any to avoid being bored.

The great thing about GenAI is it saves a lot of time for people who don't think and don't give a shit and wastes an immense amount of time for everyone else.

People don't understand what is meant by "literacy" and the "literacy crisis".

Literacy isn't just not being able to physically read. Many people know how to see words and say words, which is basic reading. Literacy is being able to infer the correct information from what you read.

"Slutty Cowards" would be a hell of a punk band name
