Mikal Bridges also extension eligible and not extended yet (I think). Nothing the obvious (it took 5 first to get him and he looked indispensable against the Celtics and pacers). Maybe Horst cooks w/ NYK, sends AJG/Kuz and 31 first for bridges? Bucks extend bridges? Or is this crazy/impossible

Totally fair. I am a bit biased in favor of having more routine in the proverbial cogs of the bucks machinery. So I’m okay with it

Can’t emphasize this enough: if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the debased assault on our country, the antidote is connecting with other people in the flesh who are feeling the same way. There are millions of us.

Brown v. WEC
On March 1, 2023 Law Forward, on behalf of Black Leaders Organizing Communities (BLOC), moved to intervene in Brown v. WEC, the latest in a long line of attacks access on absentee voting.
But avoiding comment on the fundamental civil rights issues at stake in this case - namely, our right to full access to the ballot, including safe and secure absentee voting options - does little to strengthen our democracy: www.lawforward.org/brown-v-wec/

This lawsuit openly targeted Racine's efforts to make voting more accessible, and the Court was right to toss it.

Opinion | DEI and Disparate Impact
The next step in restoring meritocracy is to reject the theory that proportionate outcomes equal fairness.
this is the "merit" two-step. first, you strongly imply or state outright that the presence of anyone who isn't a straight, able-bodied white man is unfair "DEI," then you argue that just because an institution is all-male and lily-white doesn't mean there is discrimination. that's just merit!
