04.08.2025 00:41 — 👍 56 🔁 0 💬 17 📌 0NEW YORK POST LOG IN US News Metro Long Island Politics World N METRO F in ethics: Zohran Mamdani laughed off stealing a table in college By Rich Calder Published Aug. 2, 2025, 12:10 p.m. ET 139 He must have gotten an F in ethics. NYC socialist mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani and a pal stole a table while an undergraduate at Bowdoin College in Maine — only admitting to the heist in the campus newspaper after security had him dead to rights. "I would occasionally use the table in my room. You know, for that game with the red Solo cups and a few ping-pong balls," the future defund-the-police Queens assemblyman recalled in a Sept. 16, 2011 column for The Bowdoin Orient, titled "Idiots Steal Table." "Not a drinking game though, because that would be against the rules, so we play with water. Just as much fun with twice the hydration." And the "crime" was premeditated — Mamdani admitted to eyeing the piece since he was a freshman the year before, he wrote.
Are Rupert Murdoch and the New York Post trying to help Zohran Mamdani win?

Kyrie and the ADL
Thanks for all the kind words about my look inside the Anti-Defamation League. Here's an anecdote that didn't make it into the final story. It's about my one interaction with ADL chief Jonathan Greenblatt, and my local NBA team.
nymag.com/intelligence...
Well worth a read, by the way. A deep dive into the ADL’s political choices and how the organization has changed in light of the rise of Greenblatt, Trump, 10/7, etc.
One does get the sense from this that the shift has been very top-down. With a different leader we could have a very different ADL.
I want the Forbidden Pierogies so bad.

And remember, this is a sport propped up by your tax dollars.

Oof. 11 thoroughbreds have died this summer at Saratoga Race Course, the crown jewel of east coasting racing. That's more than double last year's total, and we're only partway through the season.
In all, 200 horses have died at Saratoga since 2009.

Yet again, my 3 year old is braver (and more rational) than a white adult male Senator. It should be shamefully embarrassing to say anything like this in public.

The article has more than 40 sources. You can judge for yourself whether or not it's shallow or a hit piece.
I'll link to Greenblatt's memo in the thread.

"“New plan,” Greenblatt said in his address to national leadership last year, repeating a phrase that had recently been taken up by other Jewish organizations: “Put on your own oxygen mask first.”"
is a rich text unto itself
"Baseless claims made by anonymous sources" is an interesting depiction of an article that actually has multiple named sources. To pick one paragraph of many...
