What I mean when I say I got that dog in me.

I wanted to share this because they sent me this the other day when I got up from surgery saying "what happens in the green room when you're not here (Historian POV)". 😭

Finally! I wake up to coldness! No more hot house! Cocooning my body and laying for 3 more hours. I'm awake, just a comfy warm burrito in a cold room.

Me with a friend talking about how I shouldn't hop up on platforms: I dunno, it's probably because I'm a liability or something.

One of the directors walking by, smiling at me: You're not a liability, Shane.

Me: *tears up like it's the best compliment ever* Oh my gosh... Thank you so much, sir!

I got 5 missed calls from a friend, and like 10 texts from them too. I took a 2 hour nap, I'm so tired. 😭

Oh my gosh, same. Like... Every milestone at this point calls for this.

Nauseated...? Is that normal a couple days after surgery? Yesterday I was fine. Feels like I'm right back to recovering from anesthesia and the other stuff they put me on. Haha what the fuck. I just wanna play Wizard101. Thought I was having a fever dream when I saw it on the PS yesterday.

I want to make something gluten free and vegetarian so everyone can eat it- but when I heal I really really wanna make something and add a thank you note to everyone that's been helping me lately. I've felt so bad, that I just want to return the favor as soon as I get to walk again.

I'm only 28. So like.. 2011 is what I have. That's definitely a different era for me. Y'all get the grace of seeing pre-T me. People always wanted to take photos of me back then too.

I think I'm recovered mostly from the anesthesia and stuff. They gave me fentanyl and a crap ton of nerve relaxers yesterday. I was so out of it. I managed to go to the park today to get a bit of sunlight and fresh air. I'm also way less dizzy than last night too.

I'm the same way. I rely on so much open communication. And I think that's why I love constructive criticism as much as positive feedback so much. 🖤

Bleh. Woke up at 1:00 AM having auditory and visual hallucinations again. But my mother dragon's sleepy baby boy under my arm, purring. And being able to catch up with the @d3podcastshow.bsky.social really helped beat the hell out of my schizophrenia tonight. I get to go back to sleep. Love from us🖤

Thank you so so much. 🖤 My mother dragon that I haven't seen since I was like... 16 came all the way down from Massachusetts to surprise me and help take care of me for a bit and meet my friends too. It was really sweet to introduce each other. I cried so much.

They're not letting me go to rehearsal for obvious reasons. I'm so dizzy, but I really really wanna go 😭

Well, my theater professor suggested I get the surgery today even if my insurance isn't going to cover it. He said we'll figure it out... Like, we go together or we don't go down at all. $52k USD man...

Our friendship started off by her convincing me to sing Rip Tide by Vance Joy while she played the Uke at a highschool talent show and now I can't get that song out of my dreams.

I had to drop like 3 of my classes this semester and keep a couple with my theater professor because he knows what I've been going through and I've been able to see him basically everyday in the greenroom and what not. Luckily my GPA and Financial aid should be protected. I think it was for the best
