Something positive going on is that I am developing a pedagogical proposal for an internship at my school. So, that's cool as hell. Unfortunately, this is a "this will be useful later" thing because I'm in the humanities.
But hey, still sick as hell.

It miraculously missed puncturing vital organs and arteries. She got through surgery yesterday and if all goes well my partner and I will be able to bring her home this weekend. We are so SO grateful she is alive, we love her so dearly and this was really gruesome and scary for us all. However, the $7000 cost of the surgery has wiped out my partner's savings, and is adding a heap of medical debt back onto my Care Credit card.
