Truly feels like a failure of imagination. Also maybe some kinda bias? Very odd.

I think the mindset they have is that the remake needs to be totally faithful to the original and that's not technically true. You can take the environment and the story and build modern mechanics around it, adapting as needed. It would not be the same but it might be better.

That just makes me sad. That was a game were you could fully get lost and often would find things on one playthrough you could just not find again. I had a ton of fun with weird systems like Mark and Recall, insane game breaking spells and enchantments. That was it's charm.

It's been really inspiring to see a small team absolutely crush it. I recommend Citizen Sleeper 1 and 2 to everyone I can.

The thing people don't understand is that it is and has always been a finely tuned machine for turning any kind of resistance into free labor. If you're lucky. It also makes unmarked graves. The only reason we don't have gas chambers is because there's plenty of work camps.

If for some reason they do call and can't reach you, they'd probably just contact you another way.

Do you think they'd actually call the number? Why not just put a number that isn't yours or isn't even real that has the desired area code.

in hindsight I really should have thought of a more efficient solution for them.. I used to use instanced meshes in 3DS Max but I find the Blender version a little messy when i tried it 🤔
