Not only did the students discover that chatGPT is extremely wrong a lot of the time, it also lead them to realize that they should not use it as a primary source.

Not what I said at all, when I was young we were so incensed of our elders opinions of us, we worked very hard to prove them wrong on their terms. I see very little of that attitude today

Young people have always been looked down on by their elders, it was as true in my youth as it is today. The difference is I am considerably more educated and experienced than my grand parents were. I wish I could say the same for todays 16-17 yo's
