All these crazy fascists fighting tooth and nail against “woke”. For me, Obama’s rise ushered in my adult political engagement, but learning about “woke” and all that means was arguably the most important thing to happen to me as a citizen. Still learning. And proud to do so.

I think for Whiskey Pete it means woke.

You need to be a citizen to vote.

You do not need to “love your country”.

That isn’t a pre-requisite under democracy.

Americans should be deeply ashamed of what their country has become, and they should vote for change at the polls.
