No team has ever gonna a full season in the Prem without being awarded a penalty.
With 11 games to go, Spurs have not yet been awarded one.

Geddon Captain Wiggler, FYI If you are using performances against Tottenham Hotspur as a barometer for good football, then you my friend are way off course.

23.02.2026 14:38 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0era. No one will care. It won’t compare to their titles under Wenger, there have been zero memorable moments by this team. Just clubs creating reels of them cheating and time-wasting.
It’s Mouball 2.0. Just stripped of any personality.
Frank had us trying to play like this and we hated it.
convincing themselves that set piece routines are just as good as skinning a player and whipping one into the top corner.
Imagine if they were the Gooner equivalent of that Mane/Salah/Bobby side, that would be a sickener.
If they win the league, it will be the least memorable title win in the Prem
This might be denial, but I thought today that there isn’t a single thing I envy about this Arsenal side.
There were players under the Wenger era, and some of the football they played that I would be in awe of.
But this lot….a team bereft of any characters, an absence of joy in their game,
Risk And Reward In Hansi Flick's Universe
A tactical look at how opponents find solutions to Barcelona and Hansi Flick high press and high defensive line. How there is a fine thread between collapse and perfection in such a system.

Having an ex employee openly discuss internal company policy of a multimillion $ organisation, is pretty insane.
Wrote about how things were better when you’re 15 and Spurs are close to relegation cos of BMXs and shit, and how as an adult is far more frightening.

for a healthy long term plan.
11.02.2026 16:11 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0If we appoint a sub par interim, of which I’d place JH,JC and RM, with a gran pland getting the DoF in place, then I think we get relegated and all this planning counts for nought.
Which means, we probably need to appoint a highly competent coach asap, who will want ‘their guys’ which doesn’t make
Spot on from John
We are now in a catch 22 / perpetual ‘check’ situation.
Need a DoF,to appoint the coach, but need a competent coach now coz if we don’t we’re relegated. But what coach wants to have that pitched them? (‘Btw bub - you’re short term cos we’re getting a DoF who might make a change’)
We can smirk at Parker, Edwards , Nuno etc, but all these are better than the possible interim options that have been touted for us.
11.02.2026 12:41 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I think we have to make a serious appointment now. The levels in the league are too high to bang an interim / squad coach in the role and expect to get away with it.
Mason/ Heitinga/ Cochrane if appointed would and should be considered the lowest ability coach across all the other teams.
All of this is correct but also flawed if we don’t get ourselves out of the relegation scrap.
11.02.2026 11:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Carrick is a coach in an interim role, he’s not some first team coach who has been bumped.
11.02.2026 10:47 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Does ‘make a change’ imply they have someone already in place?
‘relieved of his duties/ parted ways / incompatible with the club’s etc etc’
These are the usual fodder.
Hopefully they have someone in place right away. And I don’t think an interim is going to city it in this league.
We sit 16th in the Premier League. Odd error to make… unless…..it’s was written prior to last nights game……
11.02.2026 10:17 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Very good take. The best have both. You can get far with one or the other. And you can blag either one for a while. But you can’t have neither.
