#rstats Wondering about the status of a package you submitted to CRAN? Worried that some reply went into your spam folder? There's a CRANSAYS dashboard for that

Trumpโ€™s DOJ is building a voter purge machineโ€”powered by your private data The federal agency ordinarily would prevent attacks on voting rights. Now itโ€™s carrying them out.

Today, the DOJ sued Colorado for access to its complete voter roll. This marks the 15th state sued over private voter info, 13 of which are led by Democrats. My colleague @ariberman.bsky.social and I published a big piece last week about why this should scare you. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

I've been looking at the past 3 years of 311 calls in Houston. The number one complaint, overall, is "water leak". So I looked at complaints by census block group, and then looked at the ranking of various complaints. When I map the ranking or 'water leak', there is a clear bias south of I-10.

1) ability to give an abbreviation to your inputs
2) ability to paste strings with +
