Volunteers joined us in Grand Chenier to plant 140 oak trees along land that had historically been a Chenier ridge! These trees will help strengthen the Chenier Ridge from future storms.

Louisiana has one of the highest concentrations of estuaries in the country, which provide habitat, clean our water, provide flood protection and support the economy. We strive to protect our estuaries through advocacy, education and restoration projects.
Seed collecting season is upon us! 🌱
Our native seed drive is starting back up! We are collecting native, locally grown cypress seeds. The more seeds we collect the larger our native plant nursery can grow, and the more trees we can plant across the coast.
