I think romantic love (eros) permeates our culture, but non-romantic/"brotherly" love (philia) and love for our fellow humans (agape) definitely doesn't.

When I made a loft platform I used some plywood that was up there already lining the loft sides. It was thin so I just doubled it up and it's been fine.

He bought a 1993 Trek 930 Singletrack. It's very pretty - lugged frame in British Racing Green. Sadly, one size too small for me.

For this, I think you'd be fine with two 12mm glued together. Clamps and weights while the glue dries. Maybe even some screws.
