If your book opens with a map or a floor plan, you're in for a good read.

Had a little idea for a nautical fantasy trilogy. Titles
The Yellow Ship of the Thing;
The Toot Hours;
No Returns, All Sails Final

Certainly you're entitled to try to earn something for your online efforts, but this sort of thing is misleading, and won't foster a trusted business relationship.

How about just saying "sign up and get this thing"? At least it's honest.

Unpopular(?) opinion: If you're offering something for free (recipe, e-book, etc.) but you need our email first, then you're not offering a freebie; you're bribing us to boost your mailing list numbers.

Given how much of our online selves are tied to our email, it's not even a fair trade.

Every produce guide: Store potatoes in a dark place, away from your onions.

Every grocery store: Let's put the potatoes under these bright lights, right next to the onions.

The creator of Sloppy Joes could've chosen a different bun but didn't, suggesting that messy food was their intent and priority.

I remember when they used to put ads in the buses and subway cars, in space that is now sitting mostly empty. Why not re-implement that before imposing "new" ideas on commuters?

I had the thought yesterday that if Canada switched our communications to french the Americans might leave us alone because it’s too much effort to find out what we’re talking about.

So I drink some records and I listen to some wine
I wave at the neighbours as I dance around so high
Then I put some clothes on so they know I’m kinda shy RS

As kids, we accept a little pig that eats roast beef, without question. Questions like: Why wasn't there enough for the fourth pig? Did the first pig make a list before going to market? Did they even hear of vegetables?

I blame them for my poor household management skills.
