I really think you have got this one wrong and I hope you change your stance when looking at the wider advantages for people and business, and not just in response to the current headlines. It’s not about immigration. It’s about the UK growing up in our digital age.

I find myself agreeing with you on most things, but not this. More and more digital democracies are going for digital ID for easier access to government and services. Look at Ukraine’s дія app. We are so far behind with this sort of thing.
