Under Joe Lombardo, homelessness in Nevada is at its highest peak since the Great Recession. There are Nevadans who are having to donate their blood in order to pay their rent. 

Nevadans deserve a Governor who is focused on making Nevada more affordable – and that’s what I’ll do as Governor.

Last year, under Joe Lombardo, Nevada lagged behind most of the nation in job growth. 

Now, while small businesses and working families suffer, Lombardo is embracing Trump’s reckless tariff policies that are doing further harm to Nevada’s economy.

Under Joe Lombardo, Nevada’s unemployment rate is higher today than when he took office.

As Attorney General, I’ve held big drug companies that are jacking up prices and poisoning our communities accountable. 

As Governor, I’m going to lower the cost of prescription drugs to the Medicare-negotiated price for all Nevadans.

As a single dad in college, Medicaid kept my son and me healthy – and as a State Senator, I worked with Democrats and Republicans to expand it to tens of thousands of Nevadans. 

Now at a time when so many are struggling to make ends meet in Joe Lombardo’s economy, Trump is ripping away health care.

Working families and small businesses are being slammed by Trump’s price-raising tariffs that Joe Lombardo thinks Nevadans should “feel a little pain” from.

As Governor, unlike Lombardo, I will put the needs of Nevada families over Trump’s agenda.

As Governor, I’ll work with anyone who’s serious about bringing quality jobs to Nevada.

As Senate Minority Leader, I helped pass a bipartisan bill that created Allegiant Stadium.

Since then, from construction work to hospitality, we’ve seen thousands of families benefit from the good-paying jobs that project created.

One in four children in Nevada don’t know where their next meal is going to come from. Meanwhile Joe Lombardo vetoed a bill that would have guaranteed school meals and put money back in parents’ pockets.

As Governor, ensuring our kids are fed will be a top priority for me.

Not surprising considering this is the same Governor who said we should all be “excited” about Trump’s tax bill that gives tax breaks to billionaires while ripping health care away from tens of thousands of Nevadans.

Lombardo will always choose Trump’s agenda over Nevadans.

Health care costs are becoming more unaffordable for so many Nevadans.

If Donald Trump can pass the largest permanent tax cut for billionaires in our nation’s history, surely he can work with Congress to save the ACA tax credits and prevent health care premiums from skyrocketing for Nevadans.

As I talk to Nevadans across our state, the same issue comes up over and over again: rising costs. Prices are rising and it’s becoming harder for working families in Nevada to make ends meet.

As Governor, I will prioritize lowering costs for Nevadans.
