To carry all that grief, and hurt, but most of all, that /gratitude/ within me, and to take it all and try to do what Rowan did. To leave the world a better place than I arrived in it. To pay forward a debt I'll never be able to give back to Rowan for.

I'm going to try my best.

It's been two months. I knew Rowan for, if I go back to the day of my first interview with Dual Wield Studio, about ten. It hasn't been lost on me that I'll be the first person at Dual Wield Studio to have mourned Rowan for longer than they knew them. It's a weird feeling, to carry that grief.

Rowan was my boss. Rowan also sent me terrible memes, led me through dungeons in Final Fantasy XIV, and gave me an opportunity I never thought I'd come close to.

I am so honored to have gotten to briefly bask in her light. I'll be searching for the words for years, but rest easy, Rowan. Thank you.
