Bedard's Breakdown: Drake Maye continues to impress with his rapid mastery of McDaniels' system He simply read the Giants like a book, both pre- and post-snap, knew his part in the protection plan to help Vederian Lowe and Ben Brown, and played the role of point guard perfectly. I agree with others that Maye reminded you of Tom Brady in his mastery of this offense. He was like a symphony conductor, and the Giants were his orchestra.

Bedard: Four sequences to a win - Giants error sets up Jones TD, Maye in command for 2 TDs, defensive stand Breaking down four sequences that led to the Patriots' win over the Giants, mostly through video analysis, including:The Giants' punter double-crossing his coverage team, leading to Marcus Jones' touchdown;Drake Maye reading the Giants like a book to Hunter Henry and then Kayshon Boutte for touchdown;Patriots' defense holding the Giants to the botched field goal ... and getting away with another coverage bust;Maye placing another perfect ball to Kyle Williams for a score, when the Giants likely screwed up their coverage.

Drake Maye once again shine for the Patriots on the National stage as he helped the Patriots cruise past the Giants with 282 Passing Yards including 2 Passing TDs. Bedard: Drake Maye continues to impress as he pushes Patriots to 11-2, states case for NFL MVP If I had professed, after the Week 1 loss to the Raiders, that by the bye week Drake Maye would be the favorite to win the NFL MVP award with the Patriots at 11-2 and the top seed in the AFC, a bunch of people would have rightfully called emergency services and alerted them to check my mental health.

BSJ Live Coverage: Patriots (10-2) at New York Giants (2-10), 8:15 p.m. - New England looks for 10th straight win heading into bye The Patriots are the better team, and I expect them to win, but this is a lot of points considering they are playing with a new left side of the line, and center Garrett Bradbury is under the weather (illness).
