A student I've been tutoring had some questions about how to balance hitscan projectiles, so I made a demo to talk about some methods:

- Closer enemies = more accurate
- Locking on longer = more accurate
- Accuracy based on enemy type
- Enemies behind you = less accurate

I don't have netflix any more, so when I went home for Christmas I marathoned like 8 hours to catch up on Stranger Things

Now that I'm home, I don't know that I really need to see the last 3 episodes. I'm sure it's entertaining, but we are so far off the deep end by this point

I feel like there are too many characters and it's killing the pacing of stranger things

But Maya Hawke is the best thing to happen to that show

I don't really understand why every cookie recipe starts with "preheat the oven"

Most cookie doughs should be refridgerated for a while, but like, especially if it says so in the actual recipe.

Depends on the point of the discussion, imo. Debate is kinda pointless, but I think there's a lot of value in finding that nuance.

Like, we already only use the top end of the review scale - a game clearly doesn't become "bad" as soon as it drops to 6/10. Lots to learn in that space, I think.
