            Though Nepal is also no stranger to political movements — the country has seen two revolutions since 1990 — recent Gen-Z protests were marked by escalation of force. A local official told AFP that tear gas entered the hospital where she worked, making it difficult for doctors to treat the wounded.

            An earthquake of 6.1 magnitude struck in the early hours of February 28 (local time) in the central-eastern part of Nepal. Epicenter was in Sindhupalchwok-one of the worst affected districts in 2015 earthquake, and then catastrophic flash flood in 2021.
