A few more photos from my morning with the coyotes from my kayak. The sun had cleared the horizon at this point and the fish left by the commercial fishermen were running out, leading to some scuffles among family members. #mammals 🌿

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

Wikipedia loses UK Safety Act challenge, worries it will have to verify user IDs Judge tossed claim but said UK must not “significantly impede” Wikipedia operations.

Not according to Ars Technica:

The challenge was that OSA’s categorization is unlawful. Judge dismissed it but said OFCOM and Sec. State must not impede their operations, in other words you can’t ban them.

OSA covers more than age verification for porn. Age is not the issue here.

The UK is about to ban access to Wikipedia, just remember this bill was originally pitched as a means to protect kids from accessing porn.
