I know this isn’t happening because it would actually be impossible to hire additional air traffic controllers, and train existing ones on a new system in less than 3 weeks. If they really do roll out a new system it’s gonna be a disaster for the same reason that it cannot be true.

A Dem senator had one (1) flight canceled and decided to give into Republican demands and re-open the government. That's exactly what happened.

They shut down the government for nothing. Literally nothing.

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

Every single Dem that caved and agreed to this deal needs to be primaried and voted out. They are cowards who wasted the last month for a half baked promise vote a month from now.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

Okay, Ezra is confirming that he's hearing D senators are actually plotting to cave to Trump and end the shutdown WITHOUT any extension of the ACA, just a promise of a vote later down the line.
