Douglas Candano: On Writing 'Infinite Lives Infinite Deathsโ€™ - CHiNOY TV ่ฒ่ฏ้›ป่ฆ–ๅฐ Douglas Candano offers a fresh voice in the Philippine literary scene. In our blog, read his story about how he developed his unique writing style!

"Reading Infinite Lives, Infinite Deaths feels like nonfiction, as the narratives feel too real. The stories are set in a nightmarish version of Manila that feels much like ours."

A great interview with Douglas Candano.

Infinite Lives, Infinite Deaths by Douglas Candano is a collection of horror/dark fantasy short stories set in The Philippines.

I keep saying it Filipino literature is the great hidden gem. Candano sets these stories against the backdrop of the Chinoy (Chinese-Filipino) experience.

๐Ÿงต Carlo Crivelli (c1430-1495) was a fascinating Renaissance artist who painted strange visions that are both bizarre & entrancing. He was a bridge between the medieval Gothic & the modern world of the Renaissance. Letโ€™s take a look at this strange artist!
