they dont ignite the liquid they ignite the fumes, I'm not sure what circumstances cause fumes to accumulate at gas stations but it does happen, the fumes are heavier than air so it sits along the ground and when embers fall into it, it burns away

bazzite also isnt as open as other distros though, it does make it safer but also sometimes slightly more annoying to work with depending on what you're doing, learning how to use distrobox is useful on bazzite

ive been running bazzite as my main os for months and ive had no issues other than the typical relearning stuff going from windows to linux, I'd say its a great distro to learn linux on and it worked with steam straight of the box (it even comes preinstalled)

try looking at protondb to see what experiences people get running games on linux, ive had plenty of games that dont work at first but peoples fixes on there are usually great, also if you want a good distro for gaming thats dead simple try Bazzite

shame windows 8 was technically a great windows version that was simply ruined by terrible UI design, last one that wasnt filled with spy/bloatware, linux is the only clear option to me now but I wish I could still daily drive older windows
