I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America

Of course, external factors still complicate things. You wouldn't believe how much shit I had to deal with to get the construction site footage for the theory video, or all the cops I had to explain myself to during the nighttime shoots in the Tyler vid, but still, *I'm* doing *my* job great ☺️

This is kinda what I was pushing for internally with the 6 month long Tyler video, and the 2 month long theory video. Those two, great big, projects taught me a *lot* about how to film *with my edit in mind*, and let me develop all sorts of forward thinking production habits

Also holy fuck I'm getting *so good* at organizing my work flow. Trying to tell a story visually has forced me to storyboard my stuff down to the last detail, and a result of that is that I know *exactly* what shots I need, and where/how to get them, so I can just knock out a ton of footage in 1 day

I was kinda worried that if I wound up making more political videos, it would just be me stating a bunch of facts and statistics, and itd lose the personal touch that comes with biased opinions and painful emotions, but that doesn't feel true at all so far. It still *feels like* a Leadhead video 🙏

Gotta say, it's not like I have some elaborate artistic vision for this video like I did the last few, but it's been real nice to just work on a chill, relaxed video. This feels more like something people would actually watch to unwind, instead of to have an existential crisis

Mkay, got about 2/3 of the video shot and first-pass edited. Gonna see about knocking a few more things off of my shot list today. One of them is gonna require a bit of help from my people, but everything else, I can do solo 🙏
