A road runs through it - The Boston Globe Americaโ€™s wild lands are already home to vast networks of paved and dirt roads. Now the Trump administration is about to expand their reach.

We need these roadless areas more than ever.

Interesting solution to help combat the increasing fires.

30 years ago, a bomb exploded outside a federal office building in Oklahoma City. Years later, I visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum and it shook me similar to when I visited the Anne Frank House. Brought back memories of witnessing the bombing a few days later in 1995 in Sacramento.

EPA Launches Biggest Deregulatory Action in U.S. History | US EPA EPA News Release: EPA Launches Biggest Deregulatory Action in U.S. History

Rachel Carson is rolling over in her grave. Iโ€™m not old enough to remember the burning of the Cuyahoga River, but I never want to go back to that time. My whole life has been shaped by the environmental movement that came out of the late 60s and 70s.

I like the clean air and clean water I have now.

"The days of rule by unelected bureaucrats are over." - Trump's lie of the night, right after he crowned Elon Musk the head of DOGE despite his administration lying to courts about his role.

The biggest lie ever.

An emergency order a free up our trees, really is that necessary. I like my trees right where they are,
in my state and national forests and want access to them for years to come. I want my child and his children to have access to them.

That is assuming you get an email and any sort of notice. I was informed by my boss Friday night my employment with FHWA was not needed. He was shocked and devastated. I was not able to download anything.

The federal civilian worker payroll totaled $271 billion in 2022.

The annual cost of permanently extending Trump's tax cuts that primarily benefited rich individuals? $400 billion.

Keep this in mind as Trump and DOGE lay off thousands of federal workers.
