I had the dream again last night

Happy it was a "$50 & some effort" solution, and not "whatever the shop ends up charging me" solution. Great learning experience, too! I wonder if I should carry a spare bulb. Though really, I need to remember I have AAA when this sort of thing happens.

Thought it might be the fuse, but that was fine. Turned out both bulbs just burnt out at the same time. Like one of those elderly couples who are so attached, one passes within a month of the other's passing. I like to think my light bulbs felt those sorts of feelings towards each other.

Had the life experience of both my low lights dying at the same time. Discovered this a bit after 9pm up in the mountains. A short 20 min drive from home at least, so I just made everyone hate me with my brights on the way back.

Plenty of time to catch up! It was actually really nice running weather here in the mornings for awhile and then the 90s decided to roll back on in.

This is one of the most beautiful things I have witnessed, the craft here is impeccable.

I signed up for a 10k in November again, so I have less than 3 months to make sure my body is capable of this feat at a time of year when I'd prefer to be buried in a nest of warm bread & pastry on my couch.
