The US has agreed to stop importing seafood linked with bycatch, where whales, sharks, turtles & other marine life are collateral damage of reckless fishing. Great work by @centerforbiodiv.bsky.social NRDC, AWI, creating global pressure to eliminate bycatch.

By March we'll have our downstairs apartment in good shape, so from then on a long-term stay (with your own entrance!) is viable. Our daughter has plans for it eventually when she gets her permanent residency, but that's a long time away.
