FF TD detected at 190km/h convicted of dangerous driving Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill has been convicted of dangerous driving after a court heard he was driving at over 190km/h on a motorway last March.

Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill claimed he was driving at 190km/h because he was eager to facilitate a meeting with the parents of children with profound disabilities.

Last week he voted against providing disabled people with an emergency winter payment of €400.
