A train driver managed to get his train onto a slow line and stopped at a station to facilitate speedy law enforcement.
A train guard put his life on the line to protect the passengers.
Remember that next time they talk about rail workers' wages or rubbish like driverless trains with no guards.
If Labour is continuing to lose votes, just got 11% in a by-election in a seat they've held for 100 years and in a few recent polls is equal to or just behind the Greens maybe we should stop suggesting they're the only thing that can defeat Reform.

Perfectly put.
People are sick of being told there are only two options: bad or worse.

Seeing the rightwing press publish several articles a day that all have the headline "Zack Polanski is VERY scary though!" is giving me 2017-2019 vibes. And that's GOOD. Coz things are a liiiittle bit different now out there. It'll take more than Newsnight photoshopping Russian hats to fuck this.

The Labour Party have left them.

This gets to the core issue. Many mistakenly think "taxing the rich" means people on 6-figure salaries paying more tax, when it's actually about adequately taxing non-salary based wealth people accrue from assets.
That's what wealth tax actually means and it's why the rich s**t themselves about it.
If reform can rocket through the polls with a politics of despair, then it's time for the green party to do the same thing but with a politics of hope.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

Polanski is talking nonsense about wealth taxes.
The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.
I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?
Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.
Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.
Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.
This is still the most batshit argument.
Sad to report that if we had to pay for everything we stole, it would kill my critically important Selling Things Off The Back Of A Wagon business.
I like Zack Polanski for the same reason I like Zohran Mamdani.
He’s happy to stand for something.
And in a world of pandering focus grouped bullshit politics, it’s really kind of refreshing.

This was then scrapped citing the Manchester synagogue attack. Polanski is both Jewish and from Manchester
We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

The brief summary of the “coppers storming Nicola Sturgeon’s house” stuff is that the police were told the SNP had spent donations they were given for a second referendum on day-to-day party maintenance. I’m not even sure that is a crime. Now, look at what these clowns have done.

Jimmy Kimmel isn't returning to the airwaves because of "thoughtful conversations" with Disney executives.
He's back because consumers sent Disney a clear message: selling out our fundamental rights is not an acceptable cost of doing business.
This is it, but people are too gullible and mindless to realize it.

One thing that bothers me tonight in particular is how so much of this is happening because of grand and sweeping capitulation by the media, by companies, by Congress, by people in power. Even when they don’t have to — they simply comply, acquiesce, and appease.
